The cornbread needs to be completely dry so that is absorbs all the flavors of the dressing. This cornbread is still moist, so in the oven it goes for 30 minutes, while I start chopping herbs.

What goes in cornbread dressing? Mine has sausage, onions, celery, thyme, sage, and garlic.

And butter. Lots of butter.
