Seems like the new trains from Bruxelles to Paris are getting indeed offered as OUIGO :blobcatnotlikethis:
Here‘s a departure on the 23rd of December:

@niklas_net Why is this bad?
(Sorry for the question, I don't understand the context and when I google ouigo brussels paris I see only promotions for trains)

No problem! OUIGO is a low-cost operator by the SNCF, providing services in France, Spain and also in Belgium soon it seems with this cross-border service.
Low cost might sound not bad on a first glance, but there are some disadvantages present in my opinion you might know from low-cost airlines, like restrictions on luggage, basic customer support, serving non-major train stations and so on, all on the aim to offer low prices and charging you for the extras.
I‘m excited if they are accepting Interrail and Eurail passes on the trains which is a main culprit for me, but I doubt that this will happen.
