Holy shit. Just three more episodes left on this incredible masterpiece of both a TV and an animated show which is #Arcane.
Season one was great, but season two raises the bar for me to the highest level imaginable. Maybe a little too fast-paced and a little too confusing, but on a technical, animated and emotional level, this is a masterpiece the likes of which are rarely seen.
9.8/10 @ 10k votes for the latest episode alone on #imdb - totally agree.
Sad to see this end next Saturday. 🥲

So this was #Arcane. The last three episodes weren’t THAT incredibly good to me (well, besides the very last one which was a grand finale) but I think I realized what is a bit lacking: behind the superb animations and the super high technical standard, the emotional characters and the music - some „bigger picture“ and reasoning was lacking to me.

I mean I really missed the intention of some developments. Mel’s mother was advisor to the city, then marching against Victor, then marching with Victor against the city. The whole „trapped in time“ thingie (Jayce, Echo, Heimerdinger) was hard to decrypt, especially the actions of Jayce against Victor in the second act of season 2. I felt a bit lost on the „why?“ part.

@maschinentraum Ambessa didn't march against Victor, she was after Vander/Warwick and he happened to be in Victors commune. Then Victor offered her the "robot" army and access to hextech (which she was after since S1) as a weapon against The Black Rose.
Jayce's alternative journey was needed for him to see the big picture and negatives of his creation and Ekko saw what could be; ha was always very dedicated to his community.
