Reading this article, and thinking "Well, yeah, we're struggling a bit, but we're surviving on one income, and we're not really going without basic essentials."

@grissallia Dentists have priced themselves out of business, also. Kids finish High School, and that's the end of oral health for most of them. They don't see it as important. By the time it is, they're on the waiting list for free dental.
