Decided to redo my #introduction post even though I've been on fedi in some form or another for 4 years (first on koyu-dot-space but they closed so now I'm on one of the more main instances).

I'm Lord Draken BlackKnight, Keeper of the Scroll of The Court of Lazarus, original salon noir within the #nyc #nightside #vampire #occult community. I used to post prolifically on Fakebook until I deleted that account in June 2021 and I only brought it back because of nightside stuff.

I like to go to anime cons but you know how money is lately. The one I try to go to is Anime Central.

I currently have 3 cats. Two of them were previously on the YouTube livestream channel #kittenacademy, Tessa (was there for a few days in 2020) and Bombay (or the Port Oranges litter of 2021). The third cat was my late mom's and my dad wasn't able to take care of her anymore, a declawed 11 year old female calico named Gracie and she loves bullying Tessa and Bombay.

I've been tinkering with #Android since January 2009 when I rooted my T-Mobile G1 a.k.a. HTC Dream. I still occasionally root phones but lately my energy has diverted towards degoogling phones thanks to the way modern Android is structured. I also helped map out the Tizen directory tree for end users when the Samsung Galaxy Gear moved from Android to Tizen. I currently daily drive a Pixel 6a and a Pixel 8 Pro, both currently running stock but will soon run @calyxos

Rooting Android is what eventually got me playing with #linux. I started out with a laptop that came with Open SUSE and played with Ubuntu, Debian, and Fedora before ultimately settling on Linux Mint. Right now it's running on a Razer Blade 15 with 2 hard drives inside of it but I'm eventually going to get a Thinkpad I can just modify and upgrade at will.

I try to stay neutral in politics but that's very hard when the "president"-elect previously left the position of "president" after launching a violent coup at Congress and has since become an adjuticated rapist, a convicted felon, and whose name is all over the Epstein Files.

It may be my fault Flat Earthers don't believe in Australia. I asked for the shortest at-sea distance between Fremantle and Durban.
