Went to the #movies last night.

Among the many pre-roll commercials was a confusing commercial for the RCMP. Swat teams safely taking some white people into custody? Wasn't entirely clear if it was a recruiting commercial, or it was something to improve the public perception of the RCMP. But an interesting window into how the RCMP wants be seen, as nice swat teams.

Gladiator II was just OK. Sharks in the Coliseum is wrong. Broken scene.

@johnefrancis Indigenous people get tasered but they don't show that part.

Wait. They were jumping sharks in the Coliseum?

@Dianora yes, definitely shark jumping. There were some poorly done monkeys too.

I told my wife that it seemed like the whole thing was an homage to "300". Or even "Meet the Spartans".... themselves parody of Gladiator...and its other parodies...a real mess, might as well throw this one in there too. Many of the background gladiators look suspiciously like specific villains from Mad Max - The Road Warrior
