[#]OutOfSpec motoring did a 40+ hours race between #EV cars and a combustion one. Great test !

On a ~45 hours drive, the combustion one only has a few hours lead, that's a great result.

In a more casual travel, it would be almost down to nothing.

@gileri No, the table reads across, not down. The ICE vehicle had only a 2 hour lead on the Porsche Taycan EV. Then another 2 hours to the Model 3, with several others not far behind. Plus as you say, this was a very artificial situation - no stops for eating or sleeping, three drivers taking turns and napping in the back seat.

I watched the entire 12+ hour video series, it was really well edited and quite entertaining to watch. But I sure wouldn’t want to do this myself! Not racing like this. But at a more relaxed pace, #EV road trips are awesome 👍 I don’t ever want to drive an ICE vehicle again ever.
