Descendants

@oluOnline I tried to get into using Trello for life stuff after watching this from @brettmakesgames but I quickly neglected it. I think partly because it's support for multiple accounts wasn't great

At the moment I guess I'm using Todoist (having recently switched from Google Tasks) and Google Keep to track stuff. I tag almost everything, which I guess is the closest thing they have to columns, but then I don't really filter by tags 🤷🏻‍♀️

Have had Obsidian open on my laptop for a few months and occasionally write a few words there, but I think I'm put off having to pay for syncing and the more complex mobile editing workflow/interface. Aso hate Notion!

@YndaJas @oluOnline Coming over from Obsidian and disliking Notion, I believe Joplin is a valid alternative and it can be synced freely.

@mickeymarse I'll give joplin a go, i think it has the overwhelming "you can configure everything!!!!" aspect i don't like in obsidian

@oluOnline I wanted to reply to the other person only without bithering you, but the UI doesn't make it easy.

Anyway, I use Joplin out of the box version (save for the theme) and it feels quite complete to me anyway. Of course, don't know what your use case is.

@oluOnline How's the reading of Nature of Code going?

I wanted to setup a reading group, but haven't found enough people who want to commit. :(

@oluOnline Maybe one? Lol.

I wanted to discuss it to a cute meetup happening on Friday, but I won't be able to go.

How many people is a good number in your opinion?
