Is this nuts?
Simpler and equal secure way?
Creating a #freebsd #openbsd "security/tor" gateway in the cloud, so I can connect with all my Browsers/Apps/Services (Desktop & Mobile) from everywhere and route my traffic through it?
And to pump it up, I also would install a #headscale server, so I could tunnel my traffic to the VPS via Tailscale privately.
Client ---> ===TailsScaleTun===----> Jail ---> security/tor----> Destination
[#]freebsd #openbsd #tailscale #headscale #privacy #tor

@mudala what's your threat model you need to defend against?

@solene
Oh, this scenario came to my mind when I read how to access the TOR network on BSD Systems. As I understood it, It's kinda Gateway not a Browser. But I want the connection to the GW also be encrypted. Therefore Tailscale. I thought, this could be a very secure and flexible way to access the DeDaWeb(s) from, and with whatever. And if the Exit Node is compromised, Tailscale would(?) prevent a trace-back to the source. I'm no Sec. Specialist, not yet , but maybe in 2 or more years. §8-)
