@ColesStreetPothole that’s the thing, I can’t picture the TOS Kirk here. Maybe the SNW one, but I can practically hear an older Pine’s Kirk when I read this.

@alec Think of the movie version of Shatner's Kirk, not the series version. In the movies he was more cerebral.
