Made yesterday a couple of very quick rough mockups of how lists on Mastodon could be extended to be public and/or used as starter packs.
I think it could be one of the easiest way to share follow recommendations with a minimum of change from the bits Mastodon already has?
(another could be being able to generate a CSV of a specific set of people and then share that to be imported, but that’s much more technical)

Two ideas about that on Github:
(in which I shared these mockups, and there is some interesting discussion above about expanding the lists feature)

Of course that’s just for integration of follow recommendations sharing within Mastodon, for Fediverse-wise platform-agnostic solutions, there is https://fedi.directory and https://fediverse.info/explore/people and soon the starter kit project @dansup is working on: https://mastodon.social/@dansup/113497558334297218
