Toot

I decided to ship my first release of #Solarpunk2050 early. As soon as the first adventure was playable. To avoid being one of those people who have an awesome #RPG in their desktop drawer for 13 years-without releaseing. For that I needed at least a cover image - and #AI produced ones are ok-ish without having the potential to be awesome. So #AI images were ok for phase 1. But I am currently trying to figure out which #art style would fit for my #mayhem #solarpunk #revolution world. Any ideas ?

@solarpunk2050 AI images are NOT okay ethically, are NOT okay when it comes to the art level and are BEYOND UTTERLY TERRIBLE when it comes to representing what Solarpunk is about.

If you want to get a proper cover, ask yourself: what do you want to communicate about your game, your world?

Sometimes, minimalism works best. Other times, something rich and evocative.

This is for you to answer, as you know your game best.

@alxd I agree with all that you said. But from the perspective "I want a first release of a RPG" without being blocked by a missing cover it is an option. I wanted to fully build the world before I start requesting images. Now I think I found someone who could advise me with images and art... I hope I will be able to fill it with human made art soon. This was a chicken/egg problems with several eggs and chickens. I think it is close to being solved. Let's chat and add flesh to my plan.
