Reasonably serious investigative question: I'm probably going to start looking for a rack in/around either Toronto or Montreal Canada. ~1gbps transit, a/b 208V or better power. Anyone have any experience with data centers up there and/or know of anyone who likes hosting weirdos like me?
Note: I've got an ASN and netblocks available to bring with so don't need that per-se

I'll consider Ottawa too, but my own looking showed there's only like 3 data centers in the area there so that seems like it won't get anywhere

@warthog9 Montreal or Toronto exocities as you've no doubt found.

@warthog9 you should talk to @stgraber, he’s running his own AS too with quite a few gear, in Montreal, but not sure in which datacenter

@marcetienne @stgraber Be happy to hear where @stgraber has kit at 🙂

@warthog9 https://hivedatacenter.com is the co-location provider I'm using in Montreal. They do per-U, half rack or full rack and do BGP. They also make it easy to be on the Montreal IX.

@warthog9 I'm Ottawa-based; anything here is out of Montreal or Toronto anyway - and with the exception of a Bell-cum-Q9 facility, nothing here has GOOD power, IMO.
I do have racks in Montreal, Toronto, Markham...

@mWare anything you'd particularly recommend?
Ottawa: yeah I found all of 3 DCs there and it was clear those were somewhat sus on good days (was vaguely hoping I was wrong)

@warthog9 I have a partial rack at Priority Colo in Toronto; they’ve been great, and are small-customer-friendly.
