@mastohost Is it possible to have custom settings on a hosted mastodon instance? The default value for profile fields is a paltry 4. Would be nice to have a larger default.

@axleyjc Sorry, not possible. Mastodon hardcode those settings and does not support changing them via the configuration file: https://masto.host/help/change-the-number-of-characters-in-posts-bios-polls-or-others/
