When you get a 5% discount and also money for a trade in vehicle, do you take the 5% off first and then subtract the trade in offer??

@meganisalanis if I were the customer, I'd want my 5% discount before the trade-in was applied.
If I was an unscrupulous car dealer, or, you know, a car dealer, I'd probably try to subtract it after.

@essjax @meganisalanis Yes. 5% off the price then apply the trade-in is how I interpret what you've said. Also if you're a teacher do you know BODMAS?
Multiply by 0.95 then Subtract the trade in ;-)
But its a negotiation. So psychology is what you need, not maths...
