Anyone found any smart/remote plugs that don’t have sticky relays. Not even used for high loads but I guess they don’t like running various switch mode supply’s perhaps

@Dragon not sure I've driven high enough load but the mylocalbytes ones are 13A rated (unlike the sonoff which are only 10A)

@sldrant one of mine has had a nuc/mini pc on it and a couple monitors and still suffers from sticky relays and it’s an ikea one.

It’s actually worse than the one with my gaming rig on it

@sldrant That’s the werid thing about mine, I only switch it after everything has shutdown so the load should be at most 10’s of W, shouldn’t be arcing :-/

@Dragon sounds like maybe just a faulty relay? I do really like the ones I linked as they do power monitoring and tasmota/esphome firmware

@sldrant I’ve had it happen with tplink hs100s, meross and the ikea ones.

Something is causing them to get stuck if they’ve been on for a while

@Dragon oh wow. I only have the sonoff ones and the mylocalbytes ones. Never had a relay problem and have tvs, gaming rigs, home servers, all the Christmas lights, and 3d printers on them without any relay issues
