I'm finally getting back to this and trying out the https://typst.app/universe/package/modern-cv. Thanks for the link!

Any chance you'd know where to look in getting help solving the warning: unknown font family: source sans pro warning? I've done a good bit of troubleshooting with no success. It does not seem to cause anything disastrous to happen.
