Venting: Saw a meme today with a scatterplot of states, plotting % for Trump vs % of voters with college degrees, showing a definite negative correlation. Printed on the graph was a comment that Trump is winning with the ignorant voters.
That correlation is an objective fact, fine, but characterizing people w/o a degree as ignorant is just prejudice and an uncalled for insult.

Let's not lose sight of two facts: 1) something like 60-70% of voters don't have college degrees, and 2) the noted correlation does not change the fact that an immense number of voters for Harris did not have college degrees.
So this meme is not just insulting, it's insulting to a huge block of our allies.

And what was the intent of this meme in the first place? To give us a nice feeling of validation for voting for Harris. To tell us something we wanted to hear.
Is that worth aiming an unfair insult at a gigantic number of our allies?
Thank you, I'm done venting now.
