so i registered a free domain ralen.ip-ddns.com, and subdomain cloud for it. i run nextcloud on port 8080 on my laptop and wireguard it to a server in moscow so i have a public ip i can use. i set up a simple nginx reverse proxy so my cloud subdomain points to port 8080. and now, when i enter cloud.ralen.ip-ddns.com in my browser... you know what happens because you can try to! still have to set up ssl certs for https support tho

and i cant generate a cert for that domain because its actually a subdomain of ip-ddns.com which has too many certs already

i poweroffed it ofc so you cant access it. btw, when i try to link an app, i get a link to http://localhost:8080. i think thats because of nginx reverse proxy, but i can work perfectly fine through the browser, it doesnt redirect anywhere. the issue is only with clients. how did i setup #nextcloud: docker compose apache image, simple nginx redirection cloud.... -> localhost:8080. maybe i should instead redirect to cloud...com:8080 or ralen...com:8080? or i should modify the #docker image somehow?
