So, #FDP just switched off their former member Volker Wissing's website and replaced it with a sign up for party membership button.

This just anecdotally to anone claiming "it was the Chancellor who let the coalition go to pieces".

Oh, petty they are. Any professional organisation would have put a placeholder page there, maybe reading "Volker Wissing has left the FDP, we wish him good luck on his endeavours" or just a 404.

I hope he sues their butts off for infringing on his name like this.

FFS he was a federal secretary under their party flag until - checks notes - a day ago. This is a prime example of pettiness.

In the longer run they won't be able to hold on to that domain, he will claim ownership, I'm sure.
