Entiendo que Radahn, el gato, extrañe a Malenia, la gata.

Tengo a Radahn por fuera de la habitación para que no moleste a los gaticos, pero esta mañana dejé que los viera desde lejitos, como siempre, y la gata prácticamente le hizo ojitos y lo llamó para que entrara. El man me miró como pidiendo permiso.

Entró al corralito. Comenzó a oler la cobija que Malenia no me ha dejado cambiar. Luego olió a los gaticos. Uno se movió, y lo asustó.

Radahn luego se hizo al lado de Malenia, se le sentó cerquita, y le comenzó a ronronear.

Los gaticos ya tienen forma de gato. Ya se les notan las diferencias. Cuál es el más grande, cuál es el más activo, cuál es el más tranqui.

El más grande es el naranja.

El más activo es el naranja con blanco.

El más tranqui es el negrito.

El negro con blanco, creo, no he podido ver bien, es el más normalito de todos. Diría mi mamá: el más avispado, porque siempre come y siempre está caliente.

Ya desenrrollaron las orejas. Sí, ellos nacen con las orejas como si fueran bolsillos.

Ya caminan todos borrachines. Maullan cuando les hablo. Mueven las orejitas buscando sonidos.

Ya se diferencian:

El negrito va a ser gigante y el man quita a los que tenga encima pa ir a comer.

El naranja es el más cabezón y es naranja. Le gusta estar con la mamá.

El naranja con blanco es todo explorador. Da dos pasos y comienza a berrear duro

El negrito con blanco no llora, no pelea, le gusta siempre estar en la barriga de la mamá. Creo que ese sacó el genio del papá

A pesar de sus piernitas frágiles y orientación borracha, los gaticos comenzaron a explorar el corral. Uno de ellos se trepó por la malla de las paredes, como si fuera un espécimen australiano.

Uno, el naranja, tiene los ojos verdes. Los otros todavía aparecen con los ojos azules, pero ya controlan mejor sus pupilas.

Hoy pude cargar a dos, con permiso de Malenia. Huelen a gato chiquito, y su temperatura es como cuando uno pone a cargar un celular. Vibran poquito. Su voz es aguda

Los gatos ya pelean como señores borrachos en la calle: no se pueden tener en sus patas, mandan el manotazo, y los gatos involucrados en la pelea, y los que están mirando, todos absolutamente todos, se caen.

También están recorriendo el corralito. Ya pueden retraer las uñas!

Lo más bonito es que me hablan. Les quito la cobija con la que tapo el corral, o me sienten por ahí, y me buscan con la mirada. Yo les hablo y ellos me cuentan todo lo que les ha pasado en su vida de gato.
