I take back what I said on another thread saying other countries should actually cut diplomatic ties with the US.

That's not enough. Other countries need to embargo the United States in order to ensure Earth remains habitable for humans.

I understand what I'm saying here entirely. As an American, this would suck royally. But America as a whole DESERVES all the suffering it gets. Do not economically appease Donald Trump. Embargo us and make it clear that as long as he is around, the embargo will not end.

The United States is now a nation of grifters. We make nothing of value any longer. Our business leaders handed that power to China and other countries long ago.

The US Is not going to protect you from the baddies. As a country, we have BEEN the baddies for a while. The moment we invaded Iraq you shouldn't have allowed yourselves to be dragged in.

Now we're openly declaring that we're the baddies. Trump will sell you out to Putin and Xi at first opportunity. He's a coward, and even if he wasn't, is too incompetent and dumb to allow for sound military decisions.

I understand that the neoliberals in charge of most countries will not consider this course of action, in reality.

However if I were a citizen of a country in Asia or the EU, I'd be urging my leaders to do everything in their power to cut ties with the US economically and diplomatically and nationalize any assets controlled by US Companies. I'd have done it back in 2016, but it's doubly important now.
