Kinda odd that Noctua doesn't have a "versus" page against the coolers included with some CPUs.

Like, I already know Noctua's products are great, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't help them to tell other people just how much better it is than the included Wraith Stealth cooler.

@asmcbain i think maybe because they wouldn't win all the time and I have the impression that they are too nice sometimes. Other companies would just ignore the 1 or 2 aircoolers that barely beat them, and bask in the glory, but they are very very professional and boring.

Love mine tho that's for sure (even if I should go to an ATX build for this)

@nbhansen huh? They should be able to beat the ones included by AMD, that's what I meant.

Not show against other companies that make coolers, just show why I (or someone else) should buy theirs despite getting a free cooler with the CPU.

@asmcbain aaah right yeah that makes sense. They massively murder those obviously, I just meant that they are known for their extreme caution in claiming things that aren't 100% precise. Which is why I like them... They would be a massive improvement on the standard coolers, though maybe a cheaper option would do the trick for a smaller cpu like a 7600

@nbhansen Yeah, I plan to order the Noctua NH-L12S for the spec'd 7600 if I don't change my plans and hope that despite their warnings of only works in orientation 2 + not with the mobo I picked, that it'll work anyway because I only have one stick of RAM that won't have any fancy heat sinks, etc. (ECC UDIMM, not much choice there.)

The included cooler will work fine for my workloads definitely (NAS stuff) but it'll be a small case and in a place with other stuff so I'll take more cooling.
