Got Covid and flu shots today.

Pharmacist: “why did you decide to get the flu vaccine?”

My answer summed up as: “I’m getting older.”

@jamie — Yeah, I just got an email from the HSE and booked in a free appointment at Boots. I guess the guidance is “ask your pharmacist” but I just did and they didn’t object. @jamie @paulca different because up north but I get the sense most GPs would probably take someone who asked even if the guidance was over x age.

I got mine from the GP, my wife went private for her two.

@tosbourn @jamie — to say there was no ceremony was an understatement. Booked an appointment, missed it, called to see if I could come in late, no problem, in I went, all done, no bother, about 25 mins.
