What's the rules about leaving broadband contract early? Is it something about price increase? Or just tied to speed guarantees?

@intheseheels It seems to vary by provider, and the speed promise may not be enough to get you out without costs https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/broadband-and-tv/can-i-leave-my-broadband-contract-early/

@shezza_t @intheseheels I had a month left of my NOW contract but as the service wasn't available in the new place (Although Sky was) they allowed me to just cancel. When I left Virgin early a few years back there was a bit of a fee.

@Insy812 @shezza_t @intheseheels Anything that uses OpenReach will probably be very annoyed if you quit in under a year. (I believe OpenReach requires the ISP to sign up for a one year minimum for each customer to cover installation fees.)
