@yogthos I know the feeling, I transformed the sadness in action and now I actively trim my to read pile. Turns out, as I read more and more, some stuff doesn’t interest me anymore

@RosaCtrl oh yeah, I've gotten a lot more selective about what I read nowadays. I find writing style makes a big difference as well. Some books I just burn through and others feel like a slog.

@yogthos yeah, that’s why I try to only read “literary” stuff now, and as there’s only a bunch of literary non-fiction, I default to fiction

@RosaCtrl I've got in a habit of picking one fiction and one non fiction book to read recently. I used to read mostly fiction, but I've been really enjoying reading stuff like I Am a Strange Loop from Hofstadter.
