Does this need a head gasket?
I dunno, but hopefully about to find out. Misfire codes on cylinders 2 & 3, consumes oil and coolant.
Topped the coolant, about to change the oil, then will check compression and change the spark plugs. See what we can see..
Coming at this half-blind of course, so prob doing some wrench learning this afternoon

@cowman kinda young for a head gasket, high miles? Hope you find the problem!

@schizanon 200,000 km. It isn't my machine, but I do know those are hard miles. Asides from Nfld not being car friendly, I do know this has been run dry of oil at least once and hasn't seen an oil change in a long time. It does have some sludge :P

@cowman oh no! I hope a head gasket is the only thing you find then! Is there any knocking or pinging when its running? Would suck to get in there and find bad bearings, or piston rings!

@schizanon only heard it at idle -> 2k, sounds ok though. I figure on doing dry/wet compression check, which should confirm the ring condition.
