@TapiocaPearl I live in a way bigger neighborhood than when I was younger with way more kids, but I only saw a couple kids wandering the street tonight (vs the hoards of roving children in my youth).

Maybe the lockdown years broke the tradition for a lot of people. Probably only one in 10 houses even had a pumpkin.

Neighborhood is also a lot more culturally diverse than where I grew up as well, so may also just be less people living here who grew up with the tradition.

I also noticed the houses that did decorate for Halloween went absolutely nuts this year. 9 houses without a pumpkin, then the 10th would have a 10 foot skeleton, an army of lawn zombies, and a laser show of ghosts on the wall lol
