Here's a question for #DigiPres folks—do you prefer reporting file/storage sizes in base-2 or base-10 units? (E.g., GiB vs. GB).

My institution prefers reporting in "Gigabytes", but hasn't defined which base they mean, and I'm trying to decide which to recommend

@linguistory FWIW I've tended to stick to GB because they are more familiar as storage is purchased in base 10 units.
