One of the most incredible trees I've ever seen, taken in the central mountain areas of Taiwan. Check out how it grew!

@djflore Wow thats an amazing tree! Theres some incredible old growth there in Taiwan. This took me down a memory Im trying to recall more of. I think I visited Xiuluan village and hiked around Smangus giant trees. One of the most authentic experiences of my life, we stayed with an Indigenous family and got invited to share some food & mountain stories. Despite the language challenges and translations, felt so connected with them as mountain people sharing a love for nature, mountain living and exploring old growth trees.

@mountainmindset Ahh that sounds really amazing. I only spent a couple of days in the highlands and I didn't go to the east coast, I need to do that - Taiwan was really beautiful to me.

@djflore Oh as a photographer you would love the East coast of Taiwan! It's a whole different place, I really recommend it if you get the chance to explore there again.
