@deevybee Papermill paper? I was looking into whether TENS might help an elderly friend who is suffering from intestinal pain and came across this paper:

The Key Results seem odd - does this strike you as ‘tortured' phrasing or just unusual phraseology:
"As we delve deeper, we explore the promising effects of TES…. …The literature at hand speaks volumes about the therapeutic prowess of this noninvasive technique.”

I have heard it said that "delve" crops up in a lot of output from ChatGPT.
But the whole problem is that it is increasingly difficult to distinguish genuine from fake material in the academic literature. Best I can recommend is to check some of the references _ in fake papers they may not even exist and/or not be cited appropriately.
