I got to make pizza in the Ooni Volt, their indoor/outdoor electric 12" model. It's fabulous—easy, simple, uniform. The rare modern appliance with a thoughtful UI instead of app/AI nonsense.

@neven Hi Neven, I switched from a Koda 14 to a 16 for the bigger pizzas just to discover that my family prefers smaller ones. What is your experience regarding how well smaller pizzas are excepted among grown-ups?

@yves I’m not totally sure what the difference even is… 😅 Do they bake up differently?

@neven Nope it's just their size. To ask simpler: is one pizza that fits in an Ooni Volt enough for one person?

@yves Yeah, 12” is what a nice fancy spot would serve

@neven Big THX! Two last questions: do you still need to rotate the pizza like in the L shaped gas ovens and how effective is the bottom heating compared to the gas powered Oonis?

@yves No turning needed! You can control the top/bottom heat balance; and also you can set the temp lower, so you can make sure the bottom is done. I made focaccia in it, baking for 16 minutes.
