I just caught this exchange at the end, and honestly it’s one of the most gripping threads I’ve seen on social media
(i’ve cycled through the Rockies, ran across a bunch of moose, was glad I was on the bike though if one decided to chase me they would easily catch up lol)

We met again. He’s huge.
It’s two months later and ‘my’ moose came barreling in from the left and entered the trail in front of me, jogging. Just like a freeway merge.
I should look both ways.

@csaetre yikes, they can be dangerous. Friend near Fairbanks last spring got home and out of his truck, promptly chased into his house by a cow moose. He had heard an aggressive moose was in the area so had some heads up.

Jepp! Here in Norway they are known as “king of the forest”. I’m definitely trying to be appropriately cautious while sharing his woods.

@csaetre They are big! What part of Norway are you at? Wife's mum was Norwegian, her folks were from the NW part, on islands along the coast.
