It's been a long week, so we went for a massage here in #Tainan. Hannah, my partner, seemed to be having a relaxing, quiet time over on her side of the room. Meanwhile, over on my side of the room, a boisterous auntie was walking up and down my spine, while giving an excitable lecture in Mandarin on the life and habits of the German cockroach.

Perhaps, in retrospect, it was not wise to opt for this place solely on the basis that their Facebook page featured an in-house cat, whom they referred to as their 'store manager' or 店長 diànzhǎng.
