@philnelson god, it's been a WHILE since I rewatched this. I was so struck by it the first time, and also was the first thing I saw Ralph Fiennes in. My memory from previous rewatches is that it isn't as magnificent as I'd like to remember it as, but still such a solid movie and a great entry in the grimy cyberpunk canon.

@joshmillard I remember thinking it was KINDA cheesy at the time, despite watching it at least 10

times all the way thru and my opinion has improved in later rewatches
