The kid caught a large spider at school but the description of their enclosure left me with doubt whether the spider would survive the downpour expected over the long weekend. So this morning, we went to rehome it. Let me introduce you to "Big Juicy". I think the name is well deserved! We think it's a female black tunnelweb spider. Can anyone confirm this?
Also, do they eat dry mealworms?
We made a nice terrarium for it and will probably release after the weekend.
