can anyone please recommend an effective treatment for/preventative measure against tree scale (hemiptera/sternorrhyncha) available and ideally affordable in Aotearoa New Zealand?

my olive tree had it for a while but i wasn't that concerned. now the olive is dead, and it has spread to my kowhai, and i don't know what to do 😡😭
