Fair enough Sail and Rail is a long old journey. Almost 12 hours total from leaving the house to Edinburgh centre. But there are so many benefits:

1. A proper bed to have some extra sleep on the boat. And a shower!

2. No major crowds or security lines.

3. Long stretches in a comfortable seat to get work done.

It’s essentially a day’s work while on the move. Like all travel, it’s tiring, but it’s so manageable and much less stress overall than flying.
