Eine wärmegedämmte Kiste, in der einmal aufgekochtes Essen lange warm bleibt und langsam gart. Das spart Kochenergie. Eine Erfindung aus Kiregs/Nachkriegszeiten bzw Zeiten knapper Kassen.

Oder, im aktuellen Slang: Ein eco slow cooker 😏
