Toying with the idea of deleting my X (formerly Twitter) account. It's been sitting there dormant since Elon announced that he's donating $47M a month to Trump.

What are the pros and cons?

Is there a danger of it getting hijacked by bots in the deactivation process?

Will it ever be worth going back to (I have around 1200 followers)?

Any thoughts welcome ...

I totally deleted my account a couple of years ago & I had a fair few followers as well. It was the best thing I ever did though.

It took me a while to actually do it, a bit of fomo for me.

Do I miss it, I did at first - but I won’t go back. It’ll never be what it was ever again.
