Imagine publishing this on your company's website and thinking it makes you look like the good guy:

@jcs Goodness, they sound like the archetypal toxic client.
“We had 80%+ of the job already complete. We just needed to debug our code.”
You have no idea how to ship the project, but you’re confident you’re 80% done. Congratulations, you just Dunning-Krugered yourself.

@jcs What are they thinking this will achieve for them? Cool, loads of people can’t order from them, so they won’t get that money. It’s not like they’re offering anything particularly interesting in their devices that you can’t get from
anywhere else, at least at first glance.
Seems like they aren’t really all that great with customers either ;-)

@jcs lol, I looked at their company address (wondered which state they were in if they were blocking TX), and thought I remembered that part of Vegas. "Is that even a real address?"
Nope, it's a $45/mth virtual mail-forwarding address, rented from here: https://thevirtualoffice.us/index.html#/

@jcs Gotta love the overt racism they exhibit. One bad experience with one contractor that happens to be from X? Ban the entire country. Repeated bad experiences with contractors? It must be the countries/states they are in, not the way you engage with them.
I wonder what the mentioned companies would have to tell about these incidents if asked to tell their stories. But who knows, they might just be too classy to gossip about past customers beyond “we don't plan to work for them ever again”.
