Silver Searcher can match paths, instead of file contents. ag -g <regex> recursively finds paths that match a regular expression. Unlike find -regex ... it ignores files you usually don't care about (.git/*, *.pyc, *.min.js, ...) #SilverSearcher #TIL

@alex not heard of this before today. I use ripgrep though which sounds similar

@sldrant ack, ag, and ripgrep are all very similar. I've used ag for a long time, the new-to-me part is ag -g
