Just posted my first big patch to GNU #guix ! It allows anyone to generate portable AppImages from packages in the repository :)

I'd be curious to see if the appimages work on older versions of distros. It should just be a simple(?) gcc-toolchain swap if it doesn't.

@Parnikkapore Good question, it's completely statically linked so it depends mostly on the kernel version 🤔
