At risk of stating the obvious, the trend of replacing OSes with browsers is really bad for security. I knew about WebUSB but TIL that there are also WebSerial, WebHID and Web Bluetooth. I was going to suggest WebDBUS, WebSSD and WebI2C as a joke but people might implement them for real.
