The #AltText is very, very important for understanding the point of this post.

Because of #HamRadio and #Music hobbies, I have more sources of audio than your average bear might want to hear or manage. So I've got a desktop mixer that connects to my main #MacMini via USB.

Adding #AirPodsPro2 to this pile has been GREAT, thanks to #Loopback from #RogueAmoeba

Yeah, I waited a couple weeks before posting this. I wanted to be sure it was reliable.

I occasionally get audio glitches, sounds like compression artifacts, but I just go to the Loopback app, and turn off the upper-left "Behringer To AirPods" device, and turn it right back on. It's cleared up every time.

I'd say on average this happens 1.5 times per week. So it's really no big deal.

@kelvin0mql Oh I've run into that oddity on basically every Mac I've ever used if the audio output device requires audio sample rate/format conversion or compression. The fix is always super easy like that, just close and reopen the device, I think it's just.. some kind of buffer... thing. I dunno.

Ah... so our experience, and understanding of the anomaly, are pretty much the same.

Nice that it presently takes a few days for the math to crumble, or whatever.

I'm probably killing it JUST as it was about to find that next Prime Number, or discover Extra Terrestrial Intelligence. LOL
