Allgemeine Frage:

Ich möchte gerne einen #raspberrypi4 mit Audiointerface über #netjack2 ins Studio einbinden. Die Frage ist, welches OS für #lowlatency Audio geeignet ist. Ich dachte, #zynthian wäre wohl eine gute Option, aber vielleicht hat ja noch jemand bessere Vorschläge.

Vielleicht reicht https://jackaudio.org/ unter einem beliebigen Linux? Mit Jamulus und Jack gelingt das gemeinsame Online-Musizieren unter Linux ganz gut.

Ja, Jack sollte natürlich laufen - speziell #Jack2, wegen #netjack2

Es geht hier aber nicht um einen Remote-Jam, sondern um eine Studio-Installation. Da ist Jamulus nicht ganz so optimal.

Darum wäre ein auf Realtime-Aufgaben optimierten Kernel auch von Vorteil. Das normale Raspian ist ja eher ein General Purpose System. Und genau an der Stelle kommt dann meine Überlegung mit #Zynthian ins Spiel.
