Of the four, the one I’m really uncomfortable with is Em-GM, because that’s what I did for such a long time before learning more efficient ways to prep and now I hate Em-GM. It’s a shamefilled hate because that was my jam up to around 2010 or so. My last Em-GM session, Everway was the system, was such a disaster.
I’m not 100% onboard with em for emergent, I’d rather call it im for improvised. True emergence is a good thing if it’s a consequence of processes and not just something I pull out of my hat.

For me, I was somewhat stuck at Pre-GM, not liking it when players did what I felt was silly -- I have flirted with "Em-GM" in the sense of allowing myself just to let my imagination run free when it comes to describing and stating things, but it feels incomplete. That's why I've become more and more interested in the collaborative side of things.
