@Bard @puppygirlhornypost2 fun fact (that I may have said before). The comorbidity rate of autism and ADHD is 80%

This means that out of every 5 autistic people, 4 will also have ADHD. (Doesn't work the other way around, ADHD is much more common).

This is higher than the comorbidity is depression and anxiety

@GwenTheKween@tech.lgbt @puppygirlhornypost2@transfem.social Not remotely surprising. I think I went back and forth with self diagnosis over whether it was just something like ADHD, but nah, I definitely have some socialising differences too.

@Bard @GwenTheKween @puppygirlhornypost2 There are some speculating that adhd & autism are differing presentations of the same neurotype to explain why there's so much symptom overlap and comorbidity.

(Btw I hate that term since it has connotations of both as inherently negative though both have positives as well as negatives & many of the negatives are problematic because the modern world is almost exclusively set up for the comfort of neurotypicals)

As I've met more and more neurodiverse people I've started to think that's probably true, though obviously we need more data.
