Why is it called #vault if it is not encrypted locally?

@dbread Because the standard definitions of "vault" do not have anything to do specifically with encryption. A vault is simply a storage concept for something. Size, encryption, color, taste etc aren't part of the basic definition.

@dhry @dhry @dhry Thank you for your reply. My translation program gives me "vault" as "Tresor" in my mother tongue, which implies there needs to be a key for accessing the contents, but there are other translations as well.
I found out that there is a #GPG extension for encrypting the local vault. As I want to encrypt locally, I'll give that a try.
