@Bard @puppygirlhornypost2 fun fact (that I may have said before). The comorbidity rate of autism and ADHD is 80%

This means that out of every 5 autistic people, 4 will also have ADHD. (Doesn't work the other way around, ADHD is much more common).

This is higher than the comorbidity is depression and anxiety

@Bard @GwenTheKween @puppygirlhornypost2 There are some speculating that adhd & autism are differing presentations of the same neurotype to explain why there's so much symptom overlap and comorbidity.

(Btw I hate that term since it has connotations of both as inherently negative though both have positives as well as negatives & many of the negatives are problematic because the modern world is almost exclusively set up for the comfort of neurotypicals)

As I've met more and more neurodiverse people I've started to think that's probably true, though obviously we need more data.

@puppygirlhornypost2@transfem.social I'm not diagnosed with ADHD (but am diagnosed with autism) and oh god this is so me.

the amount of projects i have just stopped and i just can't continue them, or the projects that are forever an empty repo, or even like really important personal things like voice training and learning the things i want to learn i just can't start unless someone makes me start.

@puppygirlhornypost2 this is why i hate the narrative that adhd only exists because of the way society is structured like...adhd also makes me bad at feeding and showering myself, if you abolished capitalism and i didn't have to work a 9-5 i would still have this problem, i can't even play video games right
